Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt waste removal services. The role requires pre/post inspections, adherence to safety standards, and courteous interaction with customers on daily routes.

As a CDL-B driver, you will manage loading operations, complete required reports, and maintain punctuality while following company policies and regulatory requirements. This position emphasizes safety and efficiency on every shift.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Class B Commercial Driver’s License with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle to ensure safety and report issues.
• Safely operate the truck on designated routes and service each customer as scheduled.
• Load refuse and operate the compactor, disposing of material at the designated facility.
• Interact courteously with customers and dispatchers to ensure timely service.
• Complete route productivity sheets and vehicle condition reports daily.
• Adhere to safety policies and company standards at all times.
