Shirley Contracting Company in Virginia is hiring a full-time Dump Truck Driver to operate heavy equipment in Richmond, Louisa, Chesterfield, New Kent and surrounding areas. The role requires a Class B CDL with manual transmission and a clean driving record.

You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain logs, follow DOT rules, and complete daily tasks including some manual labor on projects. Work starts at 6:00 AM; overtime and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Class B CDL with manual transmission required.
• Clean driving record with no major violations in 7 years.
• Able to pass pre-employment DOT physical and drug screening.
• Willing to perform manual labor to support projects.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial vehicle in Virginia, Maryland and DC traffic and construction sites.
• Follow Department of Transportation rules and guidelines.
• Complete daily pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain inspection reports.
• Maintain mileage logs and work tickets; ensure vehicle cleanliness.
• Perform additional manual labor tasks to support projects.
