Job summary

Custom Truck One Source, Inc. in Wyandanch, NY is looking for a Yard Attendant / Class B CDL Driver to keep our rental fleet ready. You will check in equipment, prep trucks, move gear in the yard, and handle local deliveries and pickups.

The role emphasizes hands-on outdoor work, customer interaction, and teamwork with our operations staff. A Monday–Friday day shift with competitive pay and full benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL with a clean driving record; Class A CDL is a plus.
• Experience in yard, fleet, equipment, rental, or transportation roles.
• Willingness to work outdoors and perform hands-on tasks.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and equipment to load, unload, move, and stage heavy equipment.
• Drive a variety of light- and heavy-duty trucks and use power tools.
• Check in and prepare incoming and outgoing equipment for sales, rental, and service.
• Load and unload equipment and vehicles for customers and drivers and inspect for damage.
• Maintain the CTOS building, yard, and equipment to keep the location safe and organized.
• Monitor yard inventory and assist with incoming and outgoing freight.
• Clean and detail trucks to prepare them for customer delivery or shipment.
• Drive and road-test equipment as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and best practices.
• Other duties as needed.
