Job summary

Custom Truck One Source in Wyandanch, NY is seeking a Yard Attendant / Class B CDL Driver for a full-time, non-exempt, hourly role. You will check in equipment, prep trucks, move gear around the yard, and perform local customer deliveries and pickups.

This position offers a Monday-Friday day shift with a stable work environment, full benefits, competitive pay based on experience, and opportunities to grow your career. CDL is required; Class A is a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL with a clean driving record required; Class A CDL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other equipment to load, unload, move, and stage heavy equipment and products.
• Operate a variety of light- and heavy-duty trucks, equipment, and power tools.
• Check in and prepare incoming and outgoing equipment for sales, rental, and service.
• Load and unload equipment and vehicles for customers and drivers and inspect for damage.
• Maintain the CTOS building, yard, and equipment to keep the location safe and organized.
• Monitor yard inventory and assist with incoming and outgoing freight.
• Clean and detail trucks to prepare them for customer delivery or shipment.
• Drive and road-test equipment as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and best practices.
