Bob’s Discount Furniture is hiring a Yard Driver to support yard operations and local deliveries. You will safely operate a yard truck, assist with trailer movements, and maintain accurate records while coordinating with the distribution center team.

Candidates should have a valid CDL, a clean driving record, and at least one year of yard jockey and all-weather driving experience. The role emphasizes safety, communications, and efficient on-site operations.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL license.
• A clean driving record with no major accidents and no alcohol or drug convictions.
• At least 1 year all-weather driving experience is required.
• Minimum 1 year yard jockey experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate Yard Truck to maneuver and park large loads.
• Maintain records for container numbers as required.
• Interact with distribution center personnel and dispatch via radio or phone.
• Move trailers in and out of bays and inspect deliveries as needed.
