United Rentals, Inc. in Round Rock, TX is seeking a Class B CDL Driver to deliver equipment to customers safely and on time, serving as a company ambassador and returning home each night.

You'll operate heavy equipment, maintain logs, and follow FMCSA and safety regulations while providing exceptional service. The role offers opportunities for career growth and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL with acceptable driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years DOT regulated Commercial Driving Experience.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures.
• Diligent attention to safety.

Responsibilities

• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers.
• Operate heavy equipment such as semi-trucks and trailers (“rollbacks” or “dove tails”).
• Adhere to all safety requirements particular to equipment including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Maintain driver’s logs and complete pre-trip inspections.
• Suggest equipment and supplies to meet customers’ other needs.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
