Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Driver to deliver and recover construction equipment and supplies to customer sites. You will secure loadings, perform basic on-site repairs, and ensure safety and DOT compliance.

Strong communication with customers and teams is essential. Responsibilities include conducting daily vehicle inspections, handling rental contracts, and demonstrating proper equipment use.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Must read, write and communicate effectively.
• Valid Driver’s license with Class B CDL certification.
• Knowledge of Motor Carrier Safety regulations / DOT guidelines.
• Experience with similar commercial vehicle types preferred.
• Ability to communicate with customers and management clearly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and recover equipment at the customer site.
• Secure equipment on bed of truck or trailer.
• Local or long-distance hauling of equipment and supplies.
• Perform basic troubleshooting on malfunctioning equipment.
• Demonstrate customer service standards for delivery.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and arrange necessary repairs.
• Obtain required signatures on rental contracts and related forms.
• Demonstrate safe equipment usage at delivery.
