Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with HAZMAT (or able to obtain within 60 days) and Airbrake endorsements.
• Maintain valid license, medical card, and endorsements.
• No more than two traffic convictions or two at-fault accidents in last 3 years; or combo.
• No DUI in last 7 years; must work in a drug-free environment.
• Able to lift 75lbs and move >125lbs with handling equipment.
• 1 year of CDL driving in last 5 years or proof of completion from trucking school.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Load and unload the truck daily with gas cylinders and supplies.
• Deliver to local and regional customers using a CDL-B vehicle.
• Build courteous, professional relationships with customers; ensure timely deliveries.
• Safely secure cylinders and use a hand cart on customer sites.

As a key representative of Airgas, the delivery driver contributes to the safe and efficient delivery of compressed gas cylinders to local and regional business customers from an Airgas branch or plant location using a company provided CDL B vehicle. This position involves loading, unloading, and returning compressed gas cylinders while frequently connecting with Airgas customers.

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

• Complete deliveries on customer property sites using a hand cart; we emphasize the physically active and hands-on nature of this position.

Are you a MATCH?

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Class A or B CDL with HAZMAT (or able to obtain within 60 days from hire date) & Airbrake endorsements
• Maintain appropriate driver's license, medical card & endorsements
• No more than two (2) traffic convictions: OR two (2) at-fault accident in the last 3 years; or no more than a combination of one (1) traffic conviction and one (1) at-fault accident in the last 3 years
• No driving while under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance within the last seven (7) years
• Must be able to work in a drug-free environment
• Be able to regularly lift 75lbs and move more than 125lbs with the aid of material handling equipment
• Must have 1 year of CDL driving experience in the last 5 years or be able able to provide proof of a certificate of completion from trucking school completed in the last 12 months.
