Performance Food Group is hiring a CDL-B Driver based in Mount Pleasant, PA. You will operate tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes, ensuring on-time delivery of food products while adhering to DOT rules and company safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Valid CDL-B license required.
• Minimum 6 months of commercial driving experience.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must meet state licensing/certification requirements where applicable.
• Clean MVR for the past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test and obtain/maintain DOT Health Card.

Responsabilités

• Perform safety checks pre/post trip and inspect tractor/truck and trailer per DOT regulations.
• Report safety issues and required repairs.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety guidelines; inspect trailer loads.
• Verify invoices and counts of loaded items.
• Complete required freight paperwork legibly.
• Move tractor to loading dock and attach preloaded trailer as needed.
• Deliver orders according to route schedule; unload at customer locations.
• Obtain customer signatures and verify delivery of items.
• Collect cash or checks as required by customer transaction.
• Load returns and secure trailer doors; ensure equipment is locked.
• Unload damaged goods and returns; process paperwork with supervisor.
• Complete daily hours-of-service logs as required.
• Maintain clean and safe tractor, dock area, and trailers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Formation

High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent

Valid CDL-B

6+ months commercial driving experience

Must be 21+ years of age

Meet licensing/certification requirements

Clean MVR for past 3 years

Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check

Pass road test

DOT Health Card current or able to secure

Ability to lift/move freight 10–90 pounds
