Performance Food Group is seeking CDL-A delivery drivers to operate tractor-trailer or straight trucks on intrastate and interstate routes from Mount Pleasant, PA. You will deliver and unload food products, interact with customers, and maintain safety standards per DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months commercial driving experience preferred.
• Valid CDL-A license required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• DOT Health Card required or able to secure one.

Responsabilités

• Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally, ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner.
• Performs safety checks (pre/post trip) and DOT inspections; ensures vehicle and trailer meet safety standards and takes action as needed.
• Drives to deliver customer orders according to the predetermined route delivery schedule; unloads products at customer sites.
• Unloads damaged goods and returns; completes necessary paperwork and checks against invoices.
• Completes daily hours-of-service logs and adheres to DOT, state, and company requirements.
• Performs general housekeeping in the tractor, loading dock area, and keeps trailers clean.
