Job summary

Performance Food Group is hiring a CDL-A Delivery Driver in Mount Pleasant, PA. You will drive a tractor trailer or straight truck to deliver food and related products to diverse customers while upholding safety and DOT rules.

Open interviews occur Wednesdays in November, 10:00am–2:00pm, at 226 East View Drive, Mount Pleasant, PA. You will perform daily safety checks, maintain logs, and ensure on-time deliveries with professional customer interactions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 6+ months of commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A license.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• Meet state licensing and certification requirements.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test and background check.
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure one.
• Able to lift and move freight up to 90 lb.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with customers, vendors and coworkers professionally.
• Operates tractor, trailer or straight truck per route plan.
• Performs pre/post trip safety inspections and DOT-compliant checks.
• Ensures proper loading, securing of freight and accurate paperwork.
• Delivers orders to customers on schedule and obtains signatures.
• Maintains vehicle cleanliness and completes daily logs as required.
• Follows DOT regulations and company safety policies.
