Job summary

United Rentals in Minnesota is seeking a Driver Small CMV to transport Mobile Storage equipment under 26,001 lbs and perform jobsite work (block, level, skirt). You will work with operations to ensure tasks meet standards and follow FMCSA guidelines.

You will drop off/pick up equipment, prepare trucks for work orders, operate rollbacks/dove tails, maintain logs, and assist customers with additional equipment needs. CDL-B, high school diploma, and DOT experience required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL with acceptable driving record.
• Minimum 2 years DOT regulated Commercial Driving Experience.
• Basic knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures.
• Diligent attention to safety.
• Limited amount of overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers.
• Prepare truck, tools, & supplies for scheduled work orders.
• Operate heavy equipment such as semi-trucks and trailers in DOT CDL-B class.
• Adhere to all safety requirements and FMCSA regulations.
• Maintain driver's logs and complete pre-trip inspections.
• Suggest additional equipment and supplies customers may need.
• Other duties at the branch, on the road, or at the customer site.
