Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Driver CDL A - Mobile Storage to deliver, set up, and pick up storage containers and mobile offices using roll-off or tilt-bed trucks.

This role emphasizes safe operations, accurate DOT documentation, and professional interaction with customers on job sites. You will perform pre/post-trip inspections, assist in yard operations, coordinate with branches, and maintain a clean vehicle appearance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of DOT regulated driving experience.
• Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to perform physical work including lifting and setup.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
• HAZMAT endorsement/OSHA familiarity/training.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, set up, and pick up storage containers, ground-level offices, and trailers using roll-off or tilt-bed equipment.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain DOT logs.
• Safely block, level, set up and secure units onsite per requirements.
• Interact professionally with customers on job sites and ensure satisfaction.
• Follow OSHA, DOT regulations and safety procedures at all times.
• Assist in yard or shop duties, including cleaning and minor repairs.
• Coordinate delivery and pickup with branch operations and dispatch.
• Maintain a clean and professional vehicle appearance.
