Job summary

Ecowaste Solutions is seeking a CDL Class B Truck Driver to operate a waste hauling truck for residential trash and recycling pickups around 150 miles from home. You will inspect vehicles, report maintenance needs, and ensure safety on every route while staying on the road and avoiding office work.

The role offers weekly pay, multiple health plans, life insurance, a 5% company match retirement plan, paid time off, and incentives. Shift is Mon-Fri, 10-12 hours, home daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CDL Class A/B license required.
• Minimum 2 years of verifiable Class B driving experience.
• No more than one moving violation on MVR in the last 3 years.

Job description

As a CDL Class B Truck Driver, you operate a waste hauling truck to provide residential trash and recycling pick up. Operating around 150 miles of your home, you lift and carry residential waste and deposit into a compactor. Throughout your day, you are attentive to safety and are sure to report any defects, accidents, or violations. You inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues and report preventative maintenance needs to management team. Each day, you are happy to be on the road and not stuck in an office.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Safely operate around 150 miles of home
• Complete daily pre and post trip inspections
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, break periods etc.) as well as with company policies and procedures
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Report any and all defects, accidents, or violations
• Carry out other duties as needed or instructed

Shift/Schedule:

• Home Daily
• Monday-Friday
• Additional hours may be needed
• Shift is 10-12 Hours
