Job summary

Ecowaste Solutions is seeking a CDL Class B Truck Driver to operate a waste hauling truck for residential trash and recycling pickups. You will drive around 150 miles from home, perform pre/post trip inspections, and report defects or incidents while adhering to safety procedures and company policies.

The role offers weekly pay, a $25,000 life insurance policy, a retirement plan with a 5% company match, PTO, and other benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 year of verifiable Class B driving experience.
• No more than one moving violation on your MVR within the last 3 years.
• CDL Class A/B license.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate around 150 miles of home
• Complete daily pre and post trip inspections
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, break periods etc.) as well as with company policies and procedures
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Report any and all defects, accidents, or violations
• Carry out other duties as needed or instructed

Job description

As a CDL Class B Truck Driver, you operate a waste hauling truck to provide residential trash and recycling pick up. Operating around 150 miles of your home, you lift and carry residential waste and deposit into a compactor. Throughout your day, you are attentive to safety and are sure to report any defects, accidents, or violations. You inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues and report preventative maintenance needs to management team. Each day, you are happy to be on the road and not stuck in an office.

• Safely operate around 150 miles of home
• Complete daily pre and post trip inspections
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, break periods etc.) as well as with company policies and procedures
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Report any and all defects, accidents, or violations
• Carry out other duties as needed or instructed

Shift/Schedule:

• Home Daily
• Monday-Friday
• Additional hours may be needed
• Shift is 10-12 Hours
