Job summary

QXO is seeking a CDL Class B Driver to safely deliver building materials to customer jobsites. You will operate commercial vehicles, inspect and secure loads, assist with loading and unloading, and collaborate with Dispatch and branch teams to ensure timely arrivals.

Requirements include 21+ years of age, a valid Class B CDL in good standing, and 12+ months of verifiable commercial driving experience. The role involves outdoor work in all weather conditions and teamwork when needed.

• Experience operating heavy equipment and driving a manual transmission truck.

Responsibilities

• Deliver building materials to customer jobsites safely and on time, while providing reliable service.
• Operate commercial vehicles and inspect and secure loads.
• Assist with loading/unloading and coordinate with Dispatch and branch teams.
• Perform touch-freight tasks and handle loads up to 75 lbs+ as required.
• Maintain communication with dispatcher to ensure timely deliveries.
• Follow DOT and company safety procedures and wear PPE.

What you'll do:

As a CDL Class B Driver at QXO, you’ll safely deliver building materials to customer jobsites while providing reliable, professional service. You’ll operate commercial vehicles, inspect and secure loads, assist with loading and unloading, and work closely with Dispatch and branch teams to ensure products arrive safely, accurately, and on time.

• Perform touch-freight tasks, which may require lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the accuracy of the load
• Notify branch management of any potential hazards on site
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site to ensure a safe environment for loading and unloading
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of products
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures, and always wear appropriate PPE

What you'll bring:
