Job summary

QXO is seeking a CDL Class B Driver to safely deliver building materials to customer jobsites. You will operate commercial vehicles, inspect and secure loads, and assist with loading and unloading to ensure products arrive safely, accurately, and on time.

You'll work closely with Dispatch and branch teams, follow DOT and safety procedures, and wear appropriate PPE. Candidates must be 21+, have a valid CDL Class B, and at least 12 months of verifiable driving experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Class B CDL license in good standing.
• At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Experience operating heavy equipment and driving a manual transmission truck.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver building materials to customer jobsites safely and professionally.
• Operate commercial vehicles and secure loads.
• Assist with loading and unloading and verify load accuracy.
• Coordinate with Dispatch and branch teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Perform touch-freight tasks and handle loads over 75 lbs.
• Follow DOT and company safety procedures and wear PPE.

What you'll do:

As a CDL Class B Driver at QXO, you’ll safely deliver building materials to customer jobsites while providing reliable, professional service. You’ll operate commercial vehicles, inspect and secure loads, assist with loading and unloading, and work closely with Dispatch and branch teams to ensure products arrive safely, accurately, and on time.

• Perform touch-freight tasks, which may require lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the accuracy of the load
• Notify branch management of any potential hazards on site
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site to ensure a safe environment for loading and unloading
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of products
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures, and always wear appropriate PPE

What you'll bring:
