Imperial Brady in Jessup, MD is hiring a Driver Straight Truck/Class B Delivery Driver. You will operate a 24’ box truck (GVW 26,000 lb), load and unload with pallet jacks and lift gates, track activity logs, and ensure accurate delivery to customer sites.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL B).
• DOT medical exam clearance required.
• A clean driving record is essential.
• At least 1 year of CDL B experience and 1 year of route delivery experience.
• Experience with manual pallet jacks/hand trucks and lift gates is preferred.
• Be able to lift 50+ pounds and handle physical workload.
• Strong work ethic and reliability are required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 24’ box truck (GVW 26,000 lb).
• Load and unload cargo using hand, pallet jack, and lift gate.
• Maintain activity logs and document deliveries accurately.
• Report issues to dispatch promptly.
• Inspect the truck before and after trips.
• Deliver products to customer locations and provide excellent service.

The Driver Straight Truck/Class B Delivery Driver will be responsible for a route of stops daily. The deliveries require unloading the product via hand, pallet jack, and dolly and delivering the merchandise to the customer-designated location. The essential aspects of this position are delivering products and providing exceptional customer service.
The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday from 6am to Finish.
Pay Rate: $23.50-$26.00

You Will

• Safely operate a 24’ box truck of 26,000 pounds of gross vehicle weight (GVW)
• Load and unload cargo via hand, manual pallet jack, and lift gate
• Properly track and document the activity log
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Inspect the truck before and after each trip
• Communicate with customers with an outgoing, positive attitude

You Have

• A valid commercial driver’s license
• Must be able to pass a DOT Medical Exam
• A good driving record
• 1 year of recent CDL B experience
• 1 year of route delivery experience
• 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience
• Lift gate experience
• Ability to handle physical workload (lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted)
• Strong work ethic
