Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 21+ years old.
• Minimum 1 year delivery driving experience; 2 years CDL driving preferred.
• Valid Class B CDL license; pass MVR; DOT medical card within five days of request.
• Ability to read and speak English; basic math and measurement skills.
• Less than 5 moving violations in 5 years; clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to customer sites on schedule and safely.
• Load/unload and secure products in vehicle.
• Verify orders; maintain logs; comply with DVIR/HOS procedures.
• Assist customers with unloading; protect product and property.
• Operate forklift or material handling equipment when needed.
• Communicate with customers and act as liaison between company and site.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine safety checks.
• Complete pre/post trip inspections and hours-of-service logs.
