Job summary

Builders FirstSource, Inc. is seeking a dependable Class B CDL Delivery Driver in Palmer, AK to safely transport and deliver building materials to customer sites while delivering outstanding service and representing the company professionally.

The role emphasizes safety, timely deliveries, and building strong relationships with customers. Candidates should have at least 1 year of delivery experience, a valid CDL and the ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card, with opportunities to work

Qualifications

CDL Class B with clean driving record.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Must pass DOT Medical Card within five days.

Responsibilities

Safely operate Class B vehicles to deliver materials to job sites and customers.
Load, secure, transport, and unload materials per policy and DOT rules.
Verify orders and obtain customer signatures or proof of delivery.
Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage, inspections, and required transportation documentation.
Interact professionally with customers and represent the company at all times.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report safety concerns promptly.
Operate forklifts and other equipment as needed.
