Job summary

Imperial Brady in Franklin, MA, is hiring a Driver (Straight Truck)/Class B Delivery Driver to manage a 20-25 stop daily route. You will unload with pallet jack and dolly, deliver to customer locations, and provide excellent service.

The schedule is Monday–Friday, starting at 5:00 AM, with a $28.93/hour base rate plus $1.25/hour with Hazmat Certification and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL B license.
• Pass DOT Medical Exam.
• Good driving record.
• 1 year of CDL B experience.
• 1 year of route delivery experience.
• 1 year of manual pallet jack/hand truck experience.
• Lift gate experience.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 26’ box truck (26,001 GVW).
• Load and unload cargo via hand truck, pallet jack with lift gate.
• Track and document the activity log.
• Report issues or incidents to dispatch.
• Inspect the truck before and after each trip.
• Communicate with customers with a positive attitude.

The Driver (Straight Truck)/Class B Delivery Driver will be responsible for a route of 20-25 stops daily. The deliveries require unloading the product via hand, pallet jack, and dolly and delivering the merchandise to the customer-designated location. The essential aspects of this position are delivering products and providing exceptional customer service.

The schedule for this position is Monday- Friday from 5:00 AM- finish.

Hourly Rate: $28.93/hour + 1.25/hour with Hazmat Certification + $5000 sign on Bonus!

You will:

• Safely operate a 26’ box truck of 26,001 pounds of gross vehicle weight (GVW)
• Load and unload cargo via hand truck, manual / electric pallet jack with a lift gate
• Properly track and document the activity log
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Inspect the truck before and after each trip
• Communicate with customers with an outgoing, positive attitude

You have:

• A valid commercial driver’s license
• Must be able to pass a DOT Medical Exam
• A good driving record
• 1 year of recent CDL B experience
• 1 year of route delivery experience
• 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience
• Lift gate experience
• Ability to handle physical workload (lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted)
• Strong work ethic
