Job summary

Carroll Concrete, a CRH company, is seeking a Pump Operator (CDL-B) for full-time year-round duties in the Vermont area. You will pre-trip inspect pumps, set up at sites, and pump concrete to customer specifications while ensuring safety and timely service.

No experience is required; training is provided. Benefits include health coverage, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and potential overtime and annual raises.

Qualifications

• CDL-B license required.
• No prior experience needed; training provided.
• Ability to perform pre-trip inspections and follow DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip inspections of concrete pumps per DOT regulations.
• Fill water tank and check valves before starting work.
• Safely drive to project sites and set up pumps in safe positions.
• Operate pumps to deliver concrete as requested, maintaining yards per hour targets.
• Clean pump systems after use and dispose of waste responsibly.
• Keep dispatch informed of project status via radio or phone.
• Complete all site paperwork before leaving.
• Assist at plant/yard and perform other duties as needed.
