Expect to drive a route, maintain safety, and assist passengers with disabilities while upholding high service standards. Hours are full-time, Monday–Friday, with a 7.5-hour day, and compensation at about $21.08 per hour.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: At least 1 year of bus driving, including transporting passengers.
• Skills: NH CDL-B with passenger and air brake endorsements; valid DOT medical card.
• Characteristics: Courteous, personable, and dependable.
• Technical: Must pass background checks and drug/alcohol tests as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate buses in Concord Area Transit, ensuring safety and comfort for passengers.
• Follow established routes and schedules, communicating changes as needed.
• Record transportation data and use two-way radio for communications.
• Maintain vehicle appearance and report any performance issues.
• Assist passengers with disabilities and ensure accessibility.
