Job summary

Modern Builders Supply (MBS) in the Midwest is seeking a CDL B Boom Truck Driver to deliver roofing, siding, windows and doors to job sites. You will load, unload, stock materials and assist rooftop deliveries while upholding safety and customer service.

This family-owned distributor offers training, weekly pay, and a comprehensive benefits package. Work hours are Mon-Fri 7:30 AM–4:00 PM with some Saturdays, and opportunities for overtime and advancement.

Qualifications

• Must have, or be willing and able to obtain, a CDL B.
• Must be willing and able to get on rooftops to load and move materials.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills with an emphasis toward customer satisfaction.
• Capable of physical work.

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicle to transport and deliver roofing, siding, windows, and doors to jobsite.
• Load and unload materials.
• Fill customers' orders.
• Inspect and maintain vehicle equipment and supplies.
• Maintain records such as vehicle logs.
• Assist rooftop deliveries by stocking residential roofs with shingles via crane or conveyor.
• General warehouse work including maintenance and upkeep of the warehouse and facilities as needed.
