Job summary

HK Contractors, a CRH company, seeks a skilled Asphalt Distributor/Tack Truck operator in Idaho. Must hold a Class A CDL with Tanker endorsement and pass a DOT physical and drug screen. Prior asphalt experience is preferred, with strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

The role requires flexibility to travel, work nights/weekends, and perform occasional maintenance on equipment while maintaining accurate time/material records and adhering to project specs.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A with Tanker endorsement required.
• DOT medical card and medical clearance required.
• Hazmat endorsement and Driver Qualification Standards applicable.
• Must pass DOT physical and drug screen.
• Willingness to travel and work nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate Asphalt Distributor/Tack Truck with safety and efficiency.
• Set spray bar for applying liquid asphalt and perform minor maintenance.
• Maintain knowledge of paving practices, grades, and material handling.
• Keep time and material records, read blueprints and project docs.
• Follow safety rules, wear PPE, and cooperate with team.
