Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a dedicated delivery and customer service associate in Columbus to support in-store sales and on-time delivery. You will help customers with product selection, loading merchandise, and coordinating with drivers to complete safe, compliant deliveries.

Required are CDL-related credentials, ability to pass MVR checks, and familiarity with DOT regulations. Prior delivery or in-home service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• CDL license required for delivering (Class A for multi-unit CMV or Class B with air brake endorsement for single-unit CMV).
• Valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to pass MVR screen per company requirements.
• Ability to obtain sales licensure or registration as required by law.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Ability to comply with DOT and CDL regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provides SMART customer service following Lowe's policies.
• Assists customers in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise.
• Coordinates with truck driver for delivery or contact customers about delivery.
• Delivers merchandise, loads trucks within delivery order payload, and inspects items before loading.
• Matches delivered items with invoice quantities and model numbers.
• Ensures loads are safe and DOT compliant; updates route/status in the system.
