Job summary

Qualifications

• Class A CDL License required for multi-unit CMV operations.
• Class B CDL with air brake endorsement acceptable for single-unit CMV operations.
• Valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one upon employment.
• Ability to pass MVR screen.
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as required by law.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Ability to comply with DOT and CDL regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service per Lowe's policies and programs.
• Seek out customers to understand needs and assist in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise.
• Respond knowledgeably to questions by guiding customers through projects.
• Communicate information on stock, special orders, features, applications, and warranties.
• Coordinate with customers and truck driver regarding delivery.
• Plan delivery activities, print loading tickets, and deliver merchandise on schedule.
• Load trucks within delivery order and secure loads.
• Inspect products before loading and verify items against invoices.
• Ensure loads are safe, secure, and compliant with DOT regulations; update route status in system.
• Unload, install, and test appliances upon delivery; maintain DOT compliance and vehicle safety.
