Job summary

Great Lakes Transportation Shuttle (GLTS) is seeking a CDL-B or higher Shuttle Driver with a Passenger (P) endorsement to transport airport employees to and from parking areas and terminals in Michigan. The role requires fluency in English, 2+ years of CDL passenger transport, and adherence to safety and FMCSR guidelines.

Hourly pay is $23.18 with full-time status and a 4-day work week. Overtime opportunities exist, and a clean driving record is required for insurance coverage.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid Michigan CDL with Passenger (P) endorsement and clean MVR.
• 2+ years of verifiable CDL passenger transport experience.
• Read and speak English fluently.
• Knowledge of FMCSR and safe operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely transporting passengers to and from airport parking lots and terminals.
• Adhere to route patterns and posted speed limits.
• Perform pre- and post-shift vehicle inspections and complete reports.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and daily safety checks.
• Notify supervisor of any vehicle servicing needs.
• Follow company policies and guidelines.

Great Lakes Transportation Shuttle (GLTS) is seeking professional drivers to safely transport airport employees to and from airport parking lots and Detroit Metro Airport terminals.

Overall responsibility:

Overall responsibility includes safely transporting passengers to and from assigned public parking lots and terminals.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

• Pick-up and drop off passengers safely and promptly within specified time requirements.
• Adhere to established route patterns while driving within posted speed limits.
• Obtain all required, assigned equipment at the start of the shift.
• Return required, assigned equipment at the end of each shift.
• Perform exterior/interior inspection and written report of outcome.
• Daily wash and maintain a clean vehicle throughout shift.
• Perform daily visual safety inspection of vehicle, written report of outcome, and notify supervisor when vehicle needs servicing.
• Adhere to established company policies, procedures and guidelines.

Job requirements:

• Possess a valid Michigan commercial CDL (Class B or higher) with Passenger (P) endorsement and an acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Have 2+ recent years of verifiable employment using a CDL to transport passengers in a CDL vehicle, such as a school bus, motor coach, city bus, airport shuttle, or similar passenger vehicle.
• Read and speak English fluently.
• Be capable of operating required transportation equipment.
• Have a working knowledge of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
