Ryder is hiring a CDL A Yard Truck Driver in University Park, IL, offering weekly pay and excellent benefits. This role involves local yard work with a 50+ hour work week and a PM shift, starting with $27.50 per hour and OT after 40 hours.

You'll be part of a team focused on safety, vehicle maintenance, and on-time delivery. Benefits begin after 30 days, with PTO accrual and company match options available, supporting long-term career growth.

Qualifications

• CDL A license required or in progress.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Flatbed experience helpful; training provided for Conestoga equipment.

Responsabilités

• Ensure safe operation of yard truck and compliance with laws and regulations.
• Load/unload freight or assist as needed per customer requirements.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report defects.
• Support and maintain accurate records and logs.
