Job summary

FirstFleet, Inc. is hiring a local yard driver in Savannah, GA. You’ll operate a climate-controlled yard truck in a 45-trailer / 22-door yard, with Sunday–Wednesday night shifts and Thursday–Saturday off.

You’ll go home daily and can pick up extra local driving on days off for additional pay. Training is paid, and benefits include medical/dental/vision/hearing coverage, a company 401(k) match, disability and life insurance, plus 5 PTO days after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Minimum 1 year tractor-trailer experience.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• Acceptable driving record.
• No DUI/DWI in last 5 years.
• No DOT-reportable accidents in last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers around the customer yard.
• Position trailers at loading doors.
• Pretrip trailers prior to loading.
• Occasional shuttles or fueling runs.
• Keep the yard organized and moving.
