FedEx is seeking a yard switcher to move trailers between the yard and loading/unloading doors in Linthicum, MD. You will coordinate movements with the yard team and management, document activities, and perform safety inspections. Prior experience is preferred but not required.

The role requires a CDL‑Class A license, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Compensation is hourly, with benefits typical of FedEx ground operations.

Qualificações

• Must have a valid driver's license and maintain a Department of Transportation (DOT) file.
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL – Class A) to operate in interstate commerce is required
• Ability to understand and follow instruction regarding work duties and safety methods.

Responsabilidades

• Move trailers between yard and doors (unload/load) as described.
• Coordinate trailer movements with management and central control.
• Document trailer moves using Yard Management System or switcher cards.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on switcher equipment.
• Adhere to yard switching safety processes and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
