Job summary

High Concrete Group LLC is seeking a Yard Person CDL A for our Springboro, Ohio Plant on 1st or 2nd shift. The role involves moving and loading precast products, yard storage, and operating trucks within the yard. A valid CDL A and experience in precast are preferred.

A shift differential applies after 5 PM, with safety-sensitive duties and drug testing requirements. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, yarding products, using scanners, and coordinating with equipment operators.

Qualifications

• CDL A Required - Manual.
• One year experience in the pre-cast/pre-stressed concrete industry, preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Certified equipment operator a plus; travel lift and/or tow motor a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist in hooking up products for loading and unloading.
• Stripping yard products from forms.
• Storing products out in the yard.
• Operate company equipment to move material, load & unload trucks, & other duties as assigned.
• Use of hand signals to escort equipment operators for setting, lifting or maneuvering production pieces during loading/unloading process.
• Operate electronic hand held scanners for verification of production pieces during storage process.
• Gather start-of-shift supplies (shims, steel blocks, homosote, rack pins, wood blocking).
• About 10% of the job is driving; the rest is yard work.
