Job summary

Pete & Gerry’s Organics is seeking a Yard Jockey to move trailers, assist shipping/receiving, and operate a pallet jack in our Indiana yard. A valid CDL A and DOT compliance are required, with clean MVR and at least two years of verifiable over-the-road experience.

They will work on multiple shifts, load/unload trailers, complete paperwork, and help ensure on-time deliveries while upholding safety, quality, and company standards. This full-time role offers benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must possess valid Commercial Driver’s license, Class A.
• Two years of verifiable over‑the‑road experience.
• Must meet all Federal and State certification including pre‑employment alcohol and controlled substances screening and meet the medical standards of the U.S. Department of Transportation.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers to assigned docks according to the shipping and receiving schedule.
• Unload and load trailers with a pallet jack.
• Safely hook and unhook trailers from tractors and inspect trucks for defects.
• Operate pallet jack to load and unload trailers.
• Complete all necessary paperwork and e-logs; maintain licenses and certifications.
