Job summary

Imperial Brady in Jessup, MD is seeking a Yard Jockey to support our Transportation team. The role involves driving trailers and box trucks from the warehouse to the annex and docks to parking areas.

Work hours are 6:00 AM to finish, Monday through Friday with overtime. Pay is $27-$29 per hour. The position offers a dynamic environment with opportunities to grow professionally within a large 13,000+ employee company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Clear MVR.
• A valid commercial driver’s license (CDL A).
• 1+ years of recent CDL A experience.
• Route delivery experience (a plus).
• Manual pallet jack and hand truck experience (a plus).
• Lift gate experience (a plus).
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted.
• Ability to work in any weather condition, outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial motor vehicles on premises, from 24' box trucks to 53' trailers.
• Transport empty trucks and loaded trucks.
• Inspect vehicles before and after moving.
• Report damage.
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks.
• Assist in the warehouse.
• Pick up and drop off trucks from vendors.
• Collaborate with coworkers.
