Job summary

Imperial Brady in Jessup, MD is seeking a Day Jockey (Yard Driver) in our Transportation team. The role moves trailers and box trucks between the central warehouse, annex, and docks, supporting operations from morning hours.

You will work Monday through Friday from 6:00AM until finish, with some overtime. The position offers hourly pay of $27 to $29, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, and PTO.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Clear MVR on record.
• 1+ years of recent CDL A experience.
• Manual pallet jack and hand truck experience (a plus).
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted.
• Ability to work in any weather condition, as most work is completed outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial motor vehicles on premises, from 24' box trucks to 53' trailers.
• Transport empty trucks and loaded trucks.
• Inspect vehicles before and after moving.
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks.
• Assist in the warehouse.
• Pick up and drop off trucks from vendors.
• Collaborate with coworkers.

The Yard Jockey drives trailers and box trucks from the central warehouse to the annex building and from docks to parking spaces.

You will work from 6:00AM until finish,Monday through Friday; some overtime is required.
