Job summary

Spec on the Job is seeking a reliable CDL-A Yard Hostler/Yard Jockey to support a busy 24/7 operation in Neenah and Menasha, Wisconsin. You will safely move dry-van trailers between our production facility in Menasha and distribution center in Neenah, and position trailers within the yards.

This full-time role requires a valid Class A CDL, a safe driving record, and the ability to work a rotating 12-hour day/night schedule in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Safe driving record.
• Previous yard hostler/yard jockey experience preferred.
• Ability to safely maneuver trailers in tight yard environments.

Responsibilities

• Safely move and position dry-van trailers between Menasha production facility and Neenah distribution center.
• Move and stage trailers within the yards as directed.
• Perform yard checks and maintain an organized, efficient yard.
• Safely couple and uncouple trailers.
• Follow all safety procedures and DOT requirements.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse, and facility personnel.
• Complete required inspections and paperwork.
