PS Seasoning in Wisconsin is seeking a Class A/B CDL driver to support our transportation and warehouse operations. The role involves delivering products between facilities and to customers, loading/unloading, and performing required shipping paperwork.

You will also assist with mechanical and facilities maintenance, inspect vehicles, and coordinate with vendors for repairs. The position requires attention to safety and GMP practices in a dynamic production environment.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A or B license.
• Demonstrated knowledge of general mechanical, construction, or facilities-related tasks.
• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work on a variety of tasks as needed.

Responsabilités

• Safely drives company vehicles (e.g., Straight Truck, Van, Pickup) and represents PS Seasoning professionally.
• Safely load/unload vehicles and move materials with a fork truck and pallet jack.
• Complete delivery-related paperwork, such as Bills of Lading and Proof of Delivery receipts.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections, log reports, and follow all DOT regulations and internal company protocols.
• Maintain operational and safety standards for all assigned vehicles.
• Ensure proper securing of loads and safe delivery practices.
• Act as a substitute driver as required to support coverage.
• Conduct routine inspections and minor repairs on fleet vehicles and small equipment.
• Support preventative maintenance schedules for production and facility tools or systems.
• Track service intervals and coordinate with third-party vendors for repairs beyond internal capability.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and repair parts across locations.
• Perform general maintenance tasks including carpentry, drywall repair, painting, minor plumbing, and fixture replacement.
• Assist in minor construction or renovation activities under supervision.
• Conduct regular inspections of building systems and report issues requiring attention.
• Support site readiness and cleanliness standards across all locations.
• Daily tasks include pulling, packing, and shipping customer orders correctly and efficiently.
• Pick orders from stock or staging areas by hand, by cart, or with equipment meeting pick rate metrics.
• Pack product in appropriate packaging and label for carriers.
• Verify quantity and quality of materials picked/packed for accuracy.
• Use handheld scanning devices for inventory and order picking.
• Maintain yard in organized, clean condition and inspect yard/equipment regularly.
• Use forklift to move materials.
