Job summary

Tempur Sealy in Conyers, GA is seeking a CDL driver to support transportation operations with general vehicle maintenance, logbook accuracy, daily inspections, and strict DOT compliance. You will load and unload shipments and maintain a clean, safe work area.

Ideal candidates hold a valid Class A CDL, have at least 12 months interstate driving experience in the last three years, and meet the age and education requirements. Tempur Sealy provides competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Possess a current and valid Class A CDL.
• Safe driving record with no more than one accident or moving violation within the previous 12 months from date of hire.
• 12+ months of verifiable driving experience (defined as interstate operation of a Class A combination vehicle/tractor trailer) within the previous three years.
• At least 22 years of age at the time of hire.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• General vehicle maintenance on assigned vehicle.
• Complete all log books and other paperwork.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections.
• Report vehicle maintenance and necessities to appropriate management.
• Load and unload customer and/or vehicles as required.
• Maintains and cleans vehicle and assigned work area.
• Material handling.
• Conform to all DOT safety regulations.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
