Job summary

Penske Logistics is hiring a CDL Class A Yard Truck Driver in Batavia, IL. You will drive late model Penske trucks, featuring in-cab cameras for safety and comfort, and you’ll move trailers in and out of docks as directed.

The schedule is Thursday to Saturday starting at 7:00 AM, with four days off each week. Penske offers strong pay, weekly Friday payroll, and opportunities to relocate to other city locations nationwide.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required and domiciled in the U.S.
• DOT medical card required
• 1 year of tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years or 2 years in the past 5 years
• Clean DMV/MVR with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• English language proficiency
• Ability to work the scheduled hours and location
• Background check and drug screening required

Responsibilities

• Move trailers in and out of dock as directed by management
• Couple and uncouple trailers
• Chocking trailers as they are spotted for loading and unloading and pulling from doors
