Job summary

Staffmark in Florence, KY is hiring a CDL A Yard Driver for the PM shift (2:15 PM - 11 PM). Local yard work, home daily, and no long-haul driving, with yard truck operations and 53 dry van trailers.

You will move manufacturing and warehouse freight, spot trailers, drop-and-hook, and may assist with warehouse tasks during downtime. Requirements include valid CDL-A, DOT Medical Card, FMCSA Clearinghouse registration with clean MVR, and 1 year CDL experience.

Qualifications

• Must have valid CDL-A license.
• DOT Medical Card required.
• FMCSA Clearinghouse registered and clear MVR.
• 1 year CDL experience (within the past 3 years).
• No more than 3 moving violations/at-fault accidents (within the past 3 years).
• No DUI, reckless driving, or serious violations (within the past 5 years).
• Strong safety awareness and backing skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Yard Truck/Yard Hostler with 53 dry van trailers.
• Local routes with home daily and minimal road exposure.
• Move manufacturing and warehouse freight.
• Primarily no-touch freight.
• May assist with warehouse tasks during downtime.
• Trailer spotting and drop-and-hook operations.
• No routine freight unloading.
• Forklift training may be provided.
• Perform general warehouse duties as needed.

Driving Requirements

• 21+ years of age
• Valid CDL-A license
