Job summary

Sugar Cane Growers Cooperative of Florida (SCGC) is seeking a reliable Water Truck Operator to support road maintenance projects. You will transport and apply water for dust control, assist with soil moisture, and ensure the truck is operated safely and in compliance with project specs.

The role requires a High school diploma or GED and a valid Class A CDL with Tanker endorsement, plus at least one year of experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1 year experience operating a water truck or similar heavy machinery.
• Must possess and maintain a Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Tanker “N” endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Safely operates a water truck for dust control and road maintenance.
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections and routine maintenance on the water truck.
• Adheres to safety guidelines and uses PPE at all times.
• Communicates with team and site managers to schedule water needs and operations.
