Ecology Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a qualified Walking Floor Driver to join our Transportation team in Fontana, CA. The position requires a Class A CDL and a strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance to ensure timely, secure deliveries of materials.

The role involves operating Walking Floor trailers, performing safety inspections, and maintaining accurate paperwork. You will work with dispatch and clients to optimize routes while upholding our environmental commitments and company

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with endorsements (preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years verifiable experience as a Class A Driver.
• Strong understanding of transportation regulations and safety protocols.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• Demonstrated reliability and a commitment to meeting delivery deadlines.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and logbook requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Walking Floor Trailers to transport materials to designated locations.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure safe transportation.
• Inspect and maintain the condition of the Walking Floor Trailers, reporting any issues promptly.
• Load and unload materials in a secure and efficient manner, following proper procedures.
• Complete required paperwork, such as logbooks and delivery receipts, accurately and on time.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, team members, and clients to ensure smooth transportation operations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the Walking Floor Trailers to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Follow established routes and schedules, adjusting as necessary to accommodate changes.
• Adhere to environmental regulations and company guidelines for the proper disposal of materials.
