Job summary

Ecology Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a qualified Class A Driver to join our Transportation team, operating Walking Floor trailers and ensuring safe deliveries. A CDL and safety mindset are essential to meet regulatory standards and company goals.

The role reports to the Operations Manager, requires a strong commitment to safety, and involves driving in Downey, CA with hours 3:00–15:00 (Mon-Fri) and 6:00–15:00 (Sat). A $2,000 bonus is noted in the posting, reflecting our incentive program.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with endorsements (preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years verifiable Class A Driver experience.
• Strong understanding of transportation regulations and safety protocols.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Excellent communication and ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and logbook requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Operate Walking Floor Trailers to transport materials to designated locations.
• Follow traffic laws, regulations and company policies for safe transport.
• Inspect and maintain Walking Floor Trailers; report issues promptly.
• Load/unload materials safely; follow proper procedures.
• Complete paperwork such as logs and delivery receipts accurately and timely.
• Communicate with dispatch, team and clients to ensure smooth operations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections for safety compliance.
• Follow routes and schedules; adjust as needed for changes.
• Comply with environmental regulations and company guidelines for disposal.
