Job summary

Ecology Auto Parts, Inc. is actively seeking a Class A Driver to join our Transportation team in Lancaster, CA. You will operate Walking Floor Trailers for safe, timely deliveries, adhering to DOT rules and company policies.

CDL and 2+ years of verifiable experience required. Willingness to load/unload, complete logs, and coordinate with dispatch is essential. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and environmental stewardship, with reporting to the Operations Manager and a schedule Mon-Fri

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with endorsements (required; endorsements preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
• Strong understanding of transportation regulations and safety protocols.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Demonstrated reliability and commitment to meeting delivery deadlines.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and logbook requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Walking Floor Trailers to transport materials to designated locations.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure safe transportation.
• Inspect and maintain the condition of the Walking Floor Trailers, reporting any issues promptly.
• Load and unload materials in a secure and efficient manner, following proper procedures.
• Complete required paperwork, such as logbooks and delivery receipts, accurately and on time.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, team members, and clients to ensure smooth transportation operations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the Walking Floor Trailers to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Follow established routes and schedules, adjusting as necessary to accommodate changes.
• Adhere to environmental regulations and company guidelines for the proper disposal of materials.
