Job summary

Ecology Auto Parts, Inc. in Paramount and Irvine, CA seeks a qualified Class A Walking Floor Driver to transport materials with walking floor trailers. A CDL is required, and candidates must have at least 2 years of verifiable experience and a strong safety record.

You will follow routes, perform pre-trip inspections, complete logbooks, and collaborate with dispatch to ensure timely deliveries. The role is full-time, non-exempt, with a 3am–3pm schedule on weekdays and some Saturday shifts.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required with endorsements preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years verifiable Class A driving experience.
• Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and safety protocols.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work independently.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate walking floor trailers to transport materials.
• Adhere to traffic laws and company policies.
• Inspect and maintain trailers and report issues.
• Load/unload materials following proper procedures.
• Complete logbooks and delivery receipts accurately.
• Coordinate with dispatch and customers to ensure smooth operations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Follow routes and schedules and adjust as needed.
• Adhere to environmental regulations for disposal.
