Job summary

Ecology Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a qualified Class A Driver to join our Transportation team. The Walking Floor Driver will safely transport materials using Walking Floor trailers and must hold a CDL A with a strong safety record.

The role includes early hours, a competitive salary, and a focus on environmental sustainability. Responsibilities include operating Walking Floor trailers, completing paperwork, coordinating with dispatch, and ensuring timely deliveries while upholding safety

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with endorsements (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years verifiable Class A driving experience.
• Strong understanding of transportation regulations and safety protocols.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• Demonstrated reliability and a commitment to meeting delivery deadlines.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and logbook requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Walking Floor trailers to transport materials.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Inspect and maintain Walking Floor Trailers; report issues promptly.
• Load and unload materials safely following procedures.
• Complete paperwork such as logbooks and delivery receipts.
• Communicate with dispatch, team members, and clients to ensure smooth operations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections for safety.
• Follow routes and schedules; adjust as needed.
• Adhere to environmental regulations and disposal guidelines.
