Job summary

Global Environmental and Industrial Response is seeking a hands-on Vacuum Truck / Jet Truck Operator (Class A CDL) to join our team. This role blends professional driving with field work in environmental and industrial settings, including emergency response projects.

Expect approximately 20% driving and 80% hands-on operation of vacuum and hydroblasting equipment, with local/regional travel and overtime as needed. Strong safety focus and DOT compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Tanker Endorsement is required.
• Current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• Registered with the DOT Clearinghouse.
• Clean driving record for the past three years.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate vacuum trucks, jet trucks, and other specialized equipment.
• Transport equipment and materials to customer and project sites.
• Assist with industrial cleaning, environmental services, and emergency response operations.
• Operate vacuum systems, hydroblasting equipment, pumps, hoses, and related tools.
• Load and unload materials at treatment and disposal facilities.
• Perform routine vehicle and equipment inspections.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety procedures.
