Job summary

Olympic Steel in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Truck Loader to accurately lay out loads, secure them, tarp or close trailers, and prepare delivery documentation for timely service.

The role requires a Class A CDL endorsement, 3+ years of experience around flatbed trailers, a High School diploma or GED, and willingness to work 3:00pm–11:00pm, Monday to Friday. Olympic Steel offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A Driver's License endorsement required.
• Three plus years’ experience working around flatbed tractor trailers or other specialized trucks/vehicles.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Familiarity with on-board computer systems a plus.
• Prior steel industry knowledge a huge plus.
• Ability to work on 2nd shift, 3:00pm - 11:00pm M-F.

Responsibilities

• Lay out loads, verify proper scaling, secure and tarpaul or close trucks.
• Operate tractor trailer or other specialized vehicle as needed.
• Prepare and provide documentation for delivery or pickup to ensure timely service.
• Load, secure, and unload cargo and maintain travel/cargo logs per regulations.
• Assist with warehouse duties as needed.
