Job summary

Idaho Milk Transport is seeking Class-A CDL Drivers for regional propane routes across the Western states. Enjoy competitive pay, home weekly, and a supportive team. Vehicles are newer and well maintained.

Qualifications

• CDL-A required.
• 12 months recent and verifiable tractor/trailer experience or qualify for apprentice program.
• Ability to obtain tank and hazmat endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Transport propane to customer locations
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
• Input macros into the automated system for loading/unloading
• Comply with truck driving rules and company policies
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Collect and verify delivery instructions
• Report defects, accidents or violations

Responsibilities

• Transport propane to customer locations
• Inspect vehiles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
• Plan routes ad meet delivery schedules
• Input "macros" into out automated system for each stage of the loading and unloading process
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
• Maneuever trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Collect and verify delivery instructions
• Report defects, accidents or violations
