Job summary

Idaho Milk Transport is seeking Class-A CDL Drivers for regional propane routes across the western states. You will enjoy competitive pay, home weekly, and well-maintained equipment.

Pay range is 90k–115k per year with $2,200 per week, quarterly safety bonus, paid training and safety incentives, plus medical, dental & vision, 401(k) with yearly match and newer Volvo trucks.

Qualifications

• CDL-A required.
• 12 months recent and verifiable tractor/trailer experience.
• Ability to obtain tank and hazmat endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Transport propane to customer locations.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance.
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
• Input macros into automated system for loading/unloading.
• Comply with truck driving rules and company policies.
• Maneuver trucks into loading/unloading positions.
• Collect and verify delivery instructions.
• Report defects, accidents or violations.

Responsibilities

• Transport propane to customer locations
• Inspect vehiles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
• Plan routes ad meet delivery schedules
• Input "macros" into out automated system for each stage of the loading and unloading process
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
• Maneuever trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Collect and verify delivery instructions
• Report defects, accidents or violations

Requirements

• 12 months recent and verifiable tractor/trailer experience or qualify for apprentice program
• Ability to obtain tank and hazmat endorsement
